How long has the company been in business?

There is certainly nothing wrong with a company that is new, everyone starts out somewhere, but a company that has been in business at least five years will have an established track record of trust and reliability. Cleanstar National has been servicing Metro Atlanta since 1995.

Who will actually be doing the cleaning? Yourself, Employees, Subcontractors, or a Franchise?


Cleaning and Janitorial companies typically are either a “franchise” or a locally owned company.  A franchise “sells” your account to a buyer who then does the cleaning themselves or “contracts” to someone else to do the cleaning.  Well now, who is in charge, and who has Your keys?  Good question. With Cleanstar National your facility will be cleaned by one of our own employee’s.

 Are they Insured & Bonded?

You want the company you hire for your workplace to be insured to protect against possible claims. If the contractor is not insured, your insurance may end up paying any medical and related costs. Contractors are required to carry a certain amount of general liability and workers compensation insurance.

What type of screening process do you do for your employees?

Does the company check references? Perform criminal background checks? Are they willing to provide proof? If they are independent contractors are they willing to provide you with a copy of their own background check at their expense?

Describe your training program. 


At Cleanstar National, Inc, all of our Janitorial staff are fully trained in the proper use of equipment, Green Cleaning products, Green Cleaning practices and company guidelines in accordance with OSHA and State regulations.

Can you provide at least three references? 

You should never hire a Janitorial company or Cleaning franchise without checking their references. After all, you’re allowing the company into your offices, and trusting them around important documents and equipment- so you want to make sure that they are honest and dependable.

Cleanstar National, Inc. offers 24 hour-a-day, seven days a week customer service. In the event a client has a special need, our staff are always on call and can be dispatched on short notice.
