  • Who will actually be doing the cleaning? Yourself, Employees, Subcontractors, or a Franchise?

    Cleaning and Janitorial companies typically are either a “franchise” or a locally owned company.  A franchise “sells” your account to a buyer who then does the cleaning themselves or “contracts” to someone else to do the cleaning.  Well now, who is in charge, and who has your keys?  Good question. With Cleanstar National your facility will be cleaned by one of our own employees.

  • Are they Insured & Bonded?

    You want the company you hire for your workplace to be insured to protect against possible claims. If the contractor is not insured, your insurance may end up paying any medical and related costs. Contractors are required to carry a certain amount of general liability and workers' compensation insurance.

  • What type of screening process do you do for your employees?

    Does the company check references? Perform criminal background checks? Are they willing to provide proof? If they are independent contractors are they willing to provide you with a copy of their own background check at their expense?
